Greetings,
We are delighted to inform you of the successful training session led by Dr Kuwe Kumssa – the Pathway to Nation Building on February 24th, 2024. The session aimed to revive the crucial role of Siiqqee in our daily lives, particularly in advancing nation-building initiatives.
We are pleased to announce that representatives/members from organizations such as the Oromo Sisterhood Institute (OSI), International Oromo Women’s Organization (IOWO), Caayaa Utubaa ABO, Damee Dubartootaaf Daa’imman ABO, and East African Medical Relief Foundation were among the participants. This collaboration marks the beginning of a positive learning partnership as we work together on future endeavors.
We were honored to host 14 Oromo women from diverse backgrounds and regions worldwide. Their active participation and engagement contributed significantly to the success of the event. The training session was truly enriching, filled with insightful discussions and a positive outlook towards our shared goals. We are grateful to all who participated and contributed to the vibrant exchange of ideas.
As we move forward, let us continue to nurture this collaboration and leverage our collective strengths to drive meaningful change in our communities and beyond using the Siiqqee framework that will soon be introduced. Thank you once again to everyone involved. Together, we are paving the way for a brighter future.
The Oromo Sisterhood Institute (OSI)
